Service Description

This course preps students to ace the American Kennel Club’s Canine Good Citizen certification exam, a comprehensive 10-skill assessment designed to showcase a dog's courteous and well-behaved demeanor in society. Phases of the test: Accepting a friendly stranger, sitting for petting, tolerating mild handling and grooming from a stranger, walking on a loose lead, walking by people and an unknown dog, sit stay, down stay, coming when called, reaction to a sudden noise, and supervised separation. The fourth week of class will be the CGC test itself, which can be ran as a practice test if the team isn’t ready for the real thing yet. This class can be taken multiple times.
