Service Description

Take your dog’s training beyond the classroom with Adventure Dog Training Trips at Found Chicago. Designed for dogs six months and older who have completed a Found training program, these trainer-guided outings give dog-and-handler teams structured practice in new environments and around real-world distractions. With coaching from a Found trainer, handlers learn to apply their dog’s existing obedience skills outside the training center. Depending on the outing, teams may practice loose-leash walking, sit, down, place, recall, calm behavior around people and dogs, and reliable responses in busy environments. Adventure Dog Trips are structured training outings rather than casual group walks. Dogs should already understand their foundational commands and be able to participate safely around other dog-and-handler teams. E-collars are not required. Handlers may use their preferred training equipment, but every participant must maintain full control of their dog throughout the trip. Eligibility: Dogs must be at least six months old and have completed a training program at Found Training Center. The emphasis on obedience, public handling, recall, environmental exposure, and distractions is consistent with Found’s published Adventure Dog training approach. Found Training Center
